ABOUT OUR SAN DIEGO PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COMPANY

Simplexity Product Development’s Southern California location sits in Rancho Bernardo, just thirty minutes north of Downtown San Diego.

Founded in 2005 by former Hewlett-Packard engineers specializing in the phase-gate design process, the San Diego office specializes in molecular diagnostic instrument development in addition to connected consumer and other markets. The engineering team of mechanical, electrical, quality, firmware, and software engineers work closely together to ensure that applicable expertise is available to every client, regardless of which location is their primary contact. Leading biotech firms such as Illumina have since selected Simplexity to help design their instruments and products.

Our San Diego Product Development Facility

In addition to the large design center, the San Diego facility has prototyping equipment, a small-batch production line for building prototypes and early production units, a CNC milling machine, and testing services. The location is experienced in all stages of the product development cycle, including concept work, detail design, engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing services for some of the world’s most advanced biotech and technology companies.
