Product Requirement

• Cell radio testing, battery charge circuit testing, UART and SIM card communication, micro switch actuation, and circuit opens, shorts, and power draw measurements. NIST traceability.​

Test Parameters ​

• Multiple cell band transmit and receive power levels, exercise lithium-ion battery charge/discharge and over and under temperature states, circuit opens and shorts, current draw measurements, UART communication, and mechanical switch actuation.​

Hardware 

• ​Utilized test fixture with pogo pins at test points to make electrical connections, dual pogo SMA connectors, and capability to actuate PCA mounted micro switch. Test fixture housed inside radio shield box.​

Tool Operation ​

• Custom computer software written to communicate with electrical test equipment (digital volt meters, power supplies, HP signal source, Gigatronics power meter). In this test, operators inserted PCA into fixture, closed lid, and actuated lever to trip switch. Circuit and radio transmit and receive measurements measured and tested.
