THE PRODUCT

• Novel biomaterial analyzer that integrates biochemistry, fluidics, electronics and mechanics into a shoebox-sized form factor
• The heart of the instrument is a microfluidic cartridge where the biochemical reactions take place

OUR ROLE 

• Redesigned, built, and tested an integrated prototype with improved functionality, usability, and manufacturability
• Developed a unique cartridge loading mechanism to improve ease-of-use, along with a new high-reliability fluidics and pumping system
• Collaborated with Industrial Design partner for a sleek and modern encloser and user interface design
